Apikraina is a pension, educational garden and apiary located in one of the most beautiful places in the area – on the Kapella Pass in the Kaczawskie Mountains, at an altitude of 615 m. From the house and garden there is a view of the Kaczawskie Mountains, the Jeleniogórska Basin and the Karkonosze Mountains. Apikraina is also an excellent base for exploring these three fascinating regions!

The surrounding area is full of attractions at any time of the year.

Here you will walk on scenic trails, conquer ancient volcanoes, visit impressive monuments and learn and create together at creative workshops. In winter, you will enjoy white madness on the slopes of Karpacz, Szklarska Poreba (30 km), Mala Upa and Harrachov (45 km). For those who prefer more intimate slopes, we recommend the Czarnów-Ski station (40 km). You can go sledding at our place or in the neighborhood - on Lysá hora (within a 10-minute walk)
Kaczawskie Mountains and Foothills, where we are located, is also called the Land of Extinguished Volcanoes. It is a fascinating region full of attractions, and it is uncrowded and untrampled.  At Apikrain, each child will get their own Explorer's Passport to the Land of Extinct Volcanoes, in which they will document their adventures with stamps and stickers! At the end of the game, medals await, but most importantly, plenty of great memories!

We have 19 places in 5 rooms.

We have designed the rooms and common space to maximize the needs of families with children. Our garden is more than a hectare of safe, fenced play space, and you will find a wide range of family activities and workshops in the area.
